See Your Food with LG’s InstaView

Whenever I’m at the store, I suffer the guilt of climate change from standing in front of an open ice cream freezer, lost in deliberation and doubt. With their recent InstaView Door-in-Door refrigerator, LG has eliminated this bit of existential angst—at least on the home front.

The clever fridge features a slim and sleek black stainless steel finish with a tinted glass panel incorporated on the right-hand door. A simple double knock illuminates the interior, giving users an unobstructed view of the wares therein.

A cool design solely on aesthetic terms, the InstaView feature minimizes energy loss owed to over-inspection and indecisiveness vis a vis food choices. The door-in-door feature is helpful as well, letting users access usual suspects like butter, milk, juice, and eggs without having to open the entire refrigerator.

Another perk: the black stainless exterior is fingerprint and smudge resistant, helping to maintain the clean minimalist look. LG offers a variety of sizes for your food storage needs, including a 30-cubic-foot-capacity model for large families and/or large eaters. See LG for additional information.
