Hayon Collection and Bisazza Bagno Debut at ISH in Frankfurt

From March 15 to 19, 2011, Bisazza Bagno debuted at ISH in Frankfurt. This new division of Bisazza begins with a range of bathroom furniture, fittings, and accessories designed by Jamie Haydon. Fittingly entitled The Haydon Collection, this new offering seeks to establish an independent company and “natural extension of the Bisazza brand.” Now available through Bisazza’s twelve flagship stores—which include Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, and Miami in the United States—Bisazza Bagno includes console tables, basins, baths, brassware, shower screens, mirrors, lighting, and accessories.

Elegant, Art Deco-Inspired Bath Furniture

And the brand begins with a bang! Designer Jamie Hayon took his inspiration from the uber-elegant, stylized Art Deco movement. Meant to “recall the glamour of the 1930s,” The Hayon Collection combines the elongated lines and beautiful symmetry of the Art Deco style. It also exemplifies the aesthetic through its “colour palette of white, black, gold and platinum” and its luxurious materials: “marble, ceramic, chrome steel, and glossy copper-finished aluminum.” Hayon explains that he wished to celebrate the bathroom as “the most important room in the home.” As such, he sought to design the new collection to be glamorous enough that it should never be hidden. “With this collection, the bathroom becomes an area you want to show, a place you can keep open,” explains Hayon. Sleek and simple, feminine and fashionable, The Hayon Collection by Bisazza Bagno is “full of charm, with a strong identity.”

The freestanding console in white ceramic features tapered legs that curve sinuously at the ends. This same silhouette appears on the slim feet of the collection’s bathtub, which is in the shape of a rectangle softened by curvy corners. And a black sink with a chrome base offers a more masculine vibe, as sexy and debonair as Rudolph Valentino in The Sheik. In other words, The Hayon Collection is chic.
