Wheels

, the new seven-piece collection by Austrian-based design firm EOOS, was inspired by a revolutionary building on the MIT campus. Building 20, erected during WWII and originally meant to be temporary, ultimately became "a magical incubator for the groundbreaking ideas in science and research that developed there for over half a century." In the spirit of modularity and spontaneous collaboration, EOOS created Wheels, seven pieces of mobile furniture for Keilhauer.

Flexible Furniture for Idea Labs

Designed to support an idea lab, Wheels includes tables and seating for flexible work environments. Wheels 10010 and 10011 are tables on casters that feature built-in power and cord management. The geometric base with crisscross wire frame makes the tables light and sculptural.

Seating includes an armless lounge chair and a high-back two-seater conversation bench, as well as a laid-back chaise-all on wheels for flexibility in millennial work spaces. Other pieces like a stool and an "idea divider on casters" augment the possibilities for configurating and reconfigurating.
