We round-up some of the most striking textiles spotted at this week’s NeoCon trade show in Chicago.

Suzanne Tick’s Teknion Textiles brand has introduced seven new designs at NeoCon 2015 in a collection called Textured Edge. Including wall panel, upholstery and wall fabrics, the collection is inspired by the process of creating art; from loose and fluid mark-making and sketches to more structured architectural grids. The collection has been awarded a ‘HiP at NeoCon’ award in the Education: Fabrics & Textiles category.

Knoll Textiles creative director Dorothy Cosonas has paired with renowned British architect David Adjaye to create this collection of African architecture-inspired digitally printed fabrics that includes six upholstery fabrics, two window fabrics and a wall-covering.

The latest in Maharam‘s ongoing series of reproduced textiles from the past, this Checker fabric by Alexander Girard was originally introduced by Herman Miller in 1965.

Appearing like a soft wool felt, Designtex’s colorful new Wannabe wallcovering is, in fact, made from 100% recycled polyester. Available inn 15 colors, Wannabe can be used to create a private space within a public setting or workplace environment.

The winner of a IIDA/HD Product Design Award at last month’s Hospitality Design Expo in Las Vegas, Brentano‘s performance upholstery fabric Equinox features a starry, tessellation pattern that undulates from dark to light and back to dark in a metaphor for day and night.
