Set to be showcased in Milan next month, German designer Thomas Schnur‘s ‘Stand up’ furniture collection embraces the notion of using furniture freely throughout the home, instead of assigning it one particular function and location. The Stand Up Collection by Thomas Schnur

The ambiguous pieces in Thomas Schnur’s ‘Stand up’ collection deliberately avoid aligning themselves with one specific location in the home

The side table is equally at home standing in the shower as it is next to the sofa; the curtain can be used to partition off an area within any open space, while the platforms and compartments of the multi-tiered shelving make personal items easily accessible in any space.
