Unveiled at this year's NeoCon, Sedia Systems’ revamped showroom, designed by Epstein Architects of Chicago, houses the JumpSeat Studio, a space dedicated to the JumpSeat product line, as well as the company’s newest auditorium chair, the J30.
The JumpSeat Studio is a space specifically designed to showcase new iterations of Sedia Systems' award-winning JumpSeat. Designed in Portland and made in the USA, the JumpSeat features a cantilevered plywood and steel structure that has revolutionized auditorium seating since its launch in 2012.
This year’s introductions include JumpSeat Wall and JumpSeat 90, which come with options such as the tablet, flexback and moveable base.
In the Sedia Systems showroom, an entire surface has been dedicated to the JumpSeat Wall allowing users to experience touchdown seating at its finest.
JumpSeat 90 can be floor mounted, flush to the wall creating a thin profile or freestanding with a flexback option. The moveable base provides flexibility and mobility while the tablet provides a clean, compact writing surface.
Showroom visitors can experience the design of the JumpSeat as they walk through the space and can see the JumpSeat deconstructed with all of its simple and beautiful components.
Also on show is Sedia Systems' new auditorium chair, the J30.
Designed by James Morrow, the J30 was developed to complement today’s architecturally refined interiors and delivers contemporary design and comfort with a variety of accessory and finish options.
