Norwegian design duo Morten & Jonas have designed a large floor lamp with a light source that spans the entire length of the lamp, from top to toe.

The Nod floor lamp uses LED technology to update the design of the archetypal floor lamp.

The Nod lamp’s LED light source emits a clear and even light through a flat, white plexiglas panel that stretches from the elegantly tilted head of the lamp, all the way down the stem. Creating a perfect silhouette, the back of the stem and the head are made from contrasting black coated aluminum.

About the designers: Morten & Jonas is a designduo located in Bergen, Norway. They have been working together since they graduad from Bergen Academy of art and design in May 2011. Since the start they have achieved several awards for their work. They have also participated in different design exibitions all over the world.
