Straw Side Tables by David Derksen

Dutch designer David Derksen collaborated with British designer Phil Procter to create this utilitarian series of biodegradable side tables.

Made from a biodegradable board material that consists of pressed straw, the Straw side tables are an innovative new design by David Derksen and Phil Procter.

Available in two sizes, the tables are finished with a natural, colored wax that lends the straw a decorative quality while accents of grey or black painted around the perimeter of the circular top and along the corners of the triangular base provide definition.
