Council has worked with leading designers Jonah Takagi, Chad Wright and Claudia & Harry Washington to create its 2013 Collection.
The Index Dining table by Jonah Takagi joins the existing line of smaller occasional tables launched in 2012. Like its smaller predecessors, each leg of the dining table is capped by a semi-circle that intrudes softly into the surface of the table. Index is available in a choice of solid Ash, White Oak, or Walnut.
The result of the studio’s first ever collaboration with Salvadoran studio Claudia & Harry Washington is Pila - a modular storage system made up of reconfigrable components. Meaning “pile” in Spanish, the wooden components can be stacked and re-stacked to create various configurations including a bedside table, bedroom storage, or credenza.
The Twig Collection by Chad Wright is for use both indoors and out. The Twig chair debuted at ICFF last year but this year sees the introduction of a new finish for indoors, and a brand new outdoor table.
