The CSYS lamps are environmentally conscious, dimmable LED lights that marry breakthrough technology with innovative design offering precise light direction through three axes of mechanical movement.

The introduction of CSYS Tall and Clamp to the U.S. market follows last year's launch of the innovative lighting collection at ICFF 2012.

The CSYS Tall stands at 4.5 feet with a whole arm width of 2 feet and features a slim, compact design. At full height and full beam, the light creates a vast 8-foot diameter pool of warm white light and offers precise light direction through three axes of mechanical movement and dimmable LED lights.

Also new to the collection is the CSYS CLaMP, a new clamp fastening desk lamp. Featuring the same technology as it’s floor-standing cousin, the CSYS CLAMP is designed to free up space on desks and can be mounted onto shelving systems and alternative surfaces.

Both designs are fully dimmable and feature touch sensitive switch and light level memory. They can be smoothly manoeuvred, both horizontally and vertically, as well as rotationally through 360 ÌŠ, to allow precise positioning. The inventive use of heat pipe technology ensures sustainable, high-quality performance by maintaining the brightness and color rendition of the LED chips for over 160,000 hours of continual use.

About the Designer: After studying industrial design at Central St. Martins College of Art and Design, Jake Dyson worked across retail, cafe and club interiors. He set up his own workshop and mill that he purchased where the true research and development flourished with his ability to work hands-on. From there, Dyson and his team grew, creating pieces like the CSYS LED task lamp after six years of research and development.
