Milan 2013: Color + Pattern

This year in Milan, designers showed us a full spectrum of color, often in the same piece. Though bright monochromatic pieces are ever popular, the fair was alive with bold combinations of pattern and poppy colors:

Marbellous Wood - Refraction by Snedker Studio: Both the form of these floorboards and the pattern painted on them are inspired by the refraction of light through a prism. Each pattern is unique and formed with a marbleizing process based on a technique used to produce early book covers. www.snedkerstudio.dk
