A collaboration between Mannington Commercial and HOK Product Design, the Vivendi collection, including Blockprint and Perennial, seeks to elevate performance flooring for high-traffic environments in which durability is as important as design.

The collection won NeoCon Gold in 2012 for its forward-thinking approach to high-traffic contract flooring

Designed to coordinate with other Vivendi products, including privacy curtains from Pallas Textiles and Vivendi resilient sheet flooring (another NeoCon Gold winner), the collection’s three patterns-Montage, Teres and Circ-are inspired by “fractal geometries with an organic twist,” writes the manufacturer.

Designed for low maintenance, Vivendi carpet is made with Mannington’s XGUARD stain-preventing technology and with ColorSafe bleach-resistant technology, to help maintain the carpet’s appearance even after years of harsh cleaning.

Installed with the manufacturer’s Seam+Advantage chemical welding technique provides seamless transitions, eliminating the need for transition strips between carpet, resilient flooring, and LVT. Seam+Advantage also facilitates transfer of heavy rolling loads and safer foot traffic, as well eliminating transition strips that can become home to infectious bacteria.

The carpet comes backed with Integra®HP and Infinity Modular high performance broadloom backings, each certified as an Environmentally Preferable Product to the NSF/ANSI-140 Gold standard. It is also available on rEvolve®, Mannington'sthermoplastic polyolefin modular backing system, which contains 40 percent recycled content (10 percent of which is post-consumer) and is certified NSF/ANSI-140 Platinum.
