Paper Pushers: Contract Trend

This is the time of year to get organized at the office. Paperwork, supplies, and electronics all need dedicated space, but today’s open-plan and collaborative work environments make it difficult to stay in one place when working on group projects. Furniture manufactures are rolling out—literally—a new army of solutions that can move throughout the office with you, and with ease:

Jensenplus, k2 tank, storage, contract, filing, office

K2 Tank by JensenPlus: The new K2 office collection includes products to accompany a trestle table. Designed to stand alone or adjacent to the work surface, the K2 Tank has a sliding shelf with space for files and papers, as well as for smaller desk items. The base is available in black or white with six front color options.

E.T., storage cart, L&Z, office, contract

E.T. by L&Z: Designed for flexibility, the mobile storage pedestal has an open shape that can be adapted to a range of functions in both office and living environments. Folded from a single piece of painted sheet metal, the cart is available in blood orange, black, white, and brown; the drawer is available in any color combination as well.

Meet, Abstracta, storage, office, contract

Meet by Abstracta: The combined mobile seating unit and wastepaper basket is designed to promote a collaborative work environment with easy maneuverability. The white-painted moulded veneer body sits atop rubber-coated wheels. Inside, two wastepaper basket holders can be removed vie the folding seat, which is fitted with a detachable upholstered cushion.

C3, Haworth

C3 by Haworth: Designed to promote teamwork and allow files and office supplies to be relocated easily, the C3 range has various container widths and drawer, shelf, and accessory options like a letter slot and mail basket. Optional tambour doors can be added for greater security.

SO, Ersa

SO by Ersa: Designed by Claudio Bellini for Ersa, the SO system is designed for open-plan offices that require a consistent appearance and modular components to meet a range of functions and personal preferences. All pieces in the series are produced with recyclable steel and melanine.
