Brazilian Granite-Inspired Carnival by Wilsonart

Printing technology has transformed the world of architectural surfaces, allowing ceramic tile to look like wood, glass to look like paper, and, as Wilsonart has shown with its line of High Definition surfaces, high-pressure laminate to look like much pricier pieces of granite.

High-pressure laminates are FSC certified and contain at least 20 percent post-consumer recycled wood fiber content

The company has introduced two new patterns inspired by Brazilian granite, known for its striking colors and bold elements. Winter Carnival (1874K/Mirage) is a deep red-brown with cool gray accents, while Summer Carnival (1875K/Mirage) contains gold tones with accents of amber, brown, and gray. The complementary patterns can be used alone or in combination.

Wilsonart’s HD line is also manufactured for durability using the company’s AEON technology, which deposits small aluminum oxide particles near the surface of the overlay sheet and larger particles within the sheet. This construction gives the material more scratch-resistance, and enhances its print fidelity and color saturation, according to the company.

Wilsonart Laminate is available at kitchen and bath dealers, home centers, and fabricators nationwide. For information on purchasing, call the Wilsonart customer service hotline at (800) 433-3222 or visit www.WilsonartContract.com.
