Pearly Lights: Llot Llov’s Earl Lamp

Berlin-based design collective Llot Llov's Earl light is a lot like the strand of pearls that inspired it-it looks good whether used alone or in a bunch.

Earl's twenty wooden pearls are handmade by German craftsmen

The pendant lamp's twenty wooden pearls are threaded on a cable that can be looped around itself or other lights to create a sculptural, functional lighting installation. A hook makes it easy to change the light's height and orientation. The last and largest pearl on the strand contains and LED light source; a silicon shade cast by Llot Llov can be moved around the ball joint to adjust the lamp's effect.
