Contemporary outdoor furniture manufacturer Sifas have launched a new collection that is manufactured using new 3D fabric technology. The technique, which has never been used to create furnishings before, involves the fabric being impregnated with resin and  then molded into shape. The resulting forms weigh just one tenth of those created in classic polyester resins.

The Kocoon Collection incorporates new technology, eco-friendly production techniques, and beautiful style

Designed by acclaimed French designer, Daniel Pouzet, the lightweight Kocoon Collection features a dining chair, a lounge arm chair, a foot rest, coffee table, end table, and a love seat offered with or without a canopy. The upholstery is available in white, taupe or an exuberant new floral pattern.

The frames are made from soldered, stainless steel and feature electro-polished tubular feet.  All the fabrics are UV resistant and waterproof  making them suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. In addition, all production techniques and components are chosen for their minimal impact on the environment.
