The 005 Tube Lighting by Naama Hofman

How interesting can tube lighting really be? There’s really only one source that comes to mind who can show us the answer to this question for sure. With a specialty in tube lighting application in specific and separate fixture designs it is the Tel Aviv-based designer, Naama Hofman, who flips them horizontally and vertically in what she calls her 005 tube lighting collection.

180 LED Lights Glowing Out of a Tube Makes for a Minimalist Table Lamp

Hitting on heavy notes of minimalism in the tube-focused lighting collection of ‘005’ comes in four variations. For the right glow, Hofman uses glass and acrylic tubing to diffuse the small 180 energy-saving LED bulbs that reside within. Choose from the tall, vertical application of the tube set inside of an upright rectangular glass box as its base.

If a lower, spread out lighting effect is desired instead, the talented Israeli designer’s three other variations of the 005 tube lighting comes in two flat, horizontal applications and one at an angled 45-degrees. With each variation, Hofman describes “in every light, the acrylic tube crosses and divides the glass in different manner; thus creating a different character with each composition, using the same materials” to create unique effects that are distinctly original.

Change up your interior with the artistic masterpiece of an enclosed collection of 180 LED lights that beautifully intersect glass planes, drawing brilliant lines in a minimalist design with the appearance of a simple tube light.
