Pi and Up Sidetables by Marc Th. van der Voorn for Odesi

Like a pair of inseparable dogs at the pound, it’s virtually impossible to pull the Pi and Up sidetables apart. They just work better as a unit, with specific characteristics that compliment the other. Designed by Marc Th. van der Voorn – a Dutch designer with a background in both interior design and lighting creations – Odesi picked up the recent designs for a double whammy of style and function in two unique little packages.

Sleek Sidetables that Match and Accentuate the Modern

“Odesi introduced two new designs at once,” says van der Voorn of his design collaboration with the Dutch manufacturer, Odesi. “The Pi & Up sidetables both have a distinguished look and something extra to offer.” What he’s referring to is the magazine holders featured on the flanks of Pi that can hold various publications on either side of each unit.

“The slightly larger tabletop from the Up sidetable gives you just some extra space,” continues van der Voorn of the accompanying design of Up. While most side tables have a 40 cm x 40 cm tray, the Up has an extra 20 cm of space for your new book, morning smoothie, or a bouquet of flowers from your loved ones, making it 40 cm x 60 cm in surface area.

Coming in a base with a matte black finish and with a black, white or red tabletop, the Pi and Up sidetables can coordinate together in a room needing the partnership of a perfect dual design.
