Midwest Modern: Hang Up Wall Organizer by Vuur Design

Upon first moving into a new home or apartment, one must define the space that acts as your “Fast Cash” ATM withdrawal or your bicycle wheel’s quick release. It’s a space that you set your keys, hang your coats and grab your umbrellas without thinking. It’s meant for simultaneous efficiency and organization and may or may not be the prettiest object in the room. For some of us, it’s a haphazard shelf or console table. For Vuur Design, it’s their Hang Up wall organizer.

Modernize with a Geometric Wall Hung Organizer and Shelf

“Clear your kitchen table of clutter and keep it on the wall,” begins the Midwest-based design and manufacturing company, Vuur Design. Hang Up is what they’re calling “a multi-purposed coat hook slash shelf to unload your life.” While most coat hangers on the market consist of a wall-mounted back and hooks or a stand-alone tree for hanging jackets, the Hang Up modified regularity through a slim design that can take anything from your phone to an oversized hobo bag.

If you were to ask Jeremiah Albrecht, the designer behind it all, he’d say that the Hang Up wall organizer can house “jackets, scarves, bags, and hats as well as holding gloves, wallets, cellphones, mail, books, cds, and even spare change.” Since it skims the wall, the powder-coated steel design can hang behind doors to stay out of the way in its shiny white or black finish.

The next time your frantically search for your keys, your wallet, or your phone, try not to think about the fact that the simple addition of a sturdy Hang Up wall organizer made right here in the USA would have solved the problem.

About the Designer: Jeremiah Albrecht of Vuur Design creates and manufactures original designs in the heart of the Midwest. To ensure the highest quality, his designs of an outdoor dining table and bench set, wall-hung organizer and even a unfinished steel fire pit by the name of Trae are all made by Vuur using great attention to detail and a knack for seamlessly solving design dilemmas.
