Featured on the hit HGTV show “I Want That,” this clever product “transforms flat ceiling planes into gently rolling 3-dimensional translucent or opaque landscapes.”

Topo System 3D Panels Instantly Alter the Topography of Any Overhead Expanse

Designed for easy installation and rapid transformability, the Topo System 3D Panels are comprised of Lexan infill panels (the 2′ x 2′ pre-formed panels snap easily into the TOPO Suspension System); an extruded aluminum frame/suspension system; 2-¼” high edge trim details; and optional 4” diameter utility circles to allow seamless integration of independently supported lighting and other utilities.

The Topo 3D panels come in two sizing profiles: the 12” depth creates deep undulations and makes a more dramatic statement, and the 8” depth profile has a subtler effect while still maintaining the aesthetic allure of the wavy topography.

USG offers both the panels and the suspension system in a wide array of finishes and colors. Choices for the panels include clear, blue, glass green, and white (translucent), as well as an opaque white. The suspension system offers users the very same palette of colors, creating the option of matching schemes that downplay the edge details, or a contrasting look that adds a new level of exciting visual interest.

Further, different colors allow different degrees of light transmission—from 94% for clear translucent down to 26% for white translucent. This variability deeds the manifold stylistic options shown to excellent effect on “I Want That,” as it helps the system to “define space and create exciting visual impact in retail, hospitality, office, education, healthcare, transportation and entertainment environments.”
