Arobo air purifier. Manufactured by Nendo.
Pure Form in Air and Water
Arobo works by using “centrifugal forced created by water revolving in a tank to draw the water into the upper compartment, from where a fan vaporizes it into the air.” Because research showed that the most efficient shape for water circulation is the sphere, Arobo is its own little planet, complete with its own clean atmosphere. The round air purifier looks as if it’s grown a long tail (similar to a comet), since the electrical cord sits low to the ground. And its angled motor and controls mean “that the intake and outtake vents are a distance from each other, creating ideal air convection.”
As if Arobo weren’t cute enough, the air purifier comes in four colors: pink, white, silver, and pewter. The pink is perfect for a baby girl’s room, where Arobo will keep the air clean without interrupting the sweet style of the nursery. In white, Arobo will disappear like a ghostly soap bubble. A silver model works well in hotel rooms and spa bathrooms, as it lends a clean look.
