Henry Cylinders from Waterworks

Ever since Bauhaus artists tackled the age-old dilemma of how to marry functional items with beautiful designs, many of our everyday objects have been less over-looked and more admired for the simple aesthetic that is modern design. Waterworks’ new Henry collection does the same: connects art and industry with modern but classic new faucet cylinder options that are worthy of a second look.

The three-cylinder collection is available in Portoro marble, an industrial Coin Edge treatment or Teak side bodies. The Italian Portoro marble is available in a polished finish and features veining in shades of grey gold, making it seamless with either the gold or silver finishes available for the hardware. Inspired by mechanical gears of the industrial edge, the Coin Edge treatment creates a simple texture that would add an extra special touch to any bathroom. The Southeast Asian Teak is organic, natural hardwood and extremely durable, although not recommended for shower applications.

Most commonly used in a low-profile, three-hole deck mounted lavatory setting, the cylinders can be configured with either metal cross handles or metal lever handles in various finishes including brass, gold, copper, chrome or nickel. The hexagonal nut and exposed screws on the cross handles would add an industrial and sophisticated touch to any bathroom.
