The Urban Plus Fabric Collection by Camira

Was it Le Corbusier who first became enamored of the grid? Not that this famed architect and designer was the first to think of the concept, but his plan for the "ideal city" was perhaps the first to render the notion of geometric living so fully realized and so comprehensive. Alas, the world was not ready for Le Corbusier's descending levels of cities, or perfect quadrants of buildings and city blocks, or even his squared-off buffer zones between urban and ex-urban zones. But I do think we're all prepared for the city-scape themes of Camira's Urban Plus Fabric Collection.

I would conjecture, in fact, that the intricate geometric contours of Camira's Urban Plus would rather resemble Le Corbusier's imaginary metropolis, at least as seen from on high. Featuring a pronounced linear design and palpable texture, Urban Plus offers "a structured geometric grid effect pattern reminiscent of a downtown urban cityscape."

Le Corbusier couldn't have said it better himself. The Urban Plus Line is comprised of over 30 distinct colorways. There's the rich vibrant green of "Uptown," perhaps suggesting the allure of big business and the promise of easy money; the cooler green of  "Suburbia," evoking the sanctuary of nature and the promise of repose. There's even a shocking red called "Congestion"-just the shade for those who relish the teeming energy of the city, for better or for worse.
