Bornholm carpet. Manufactured by Ege.
Carpets Picture Wood and Stone
The designs are available as wall-to-wall or customized carpets. All of the patterns fool the eye by presenting realistic patterns and textures that make the carpet appear three-dimensional. What you ultimately get with Out of Nature is an easy substitute for the real thing: “The collection’s expressive, photographic design adds character to a room, as well as providing good acoustics and comfort underfoot.”
Bornholm represents log rounds. With wood grain copied down to the last vein, the carpet gives you the variations in color and texture found in real pieces of log. Bergen offers lengths of wood, creating a plank flooring without the usual hardness or tendency to get scuffed. Lahti mimics cobblestones—even the spaces between the stones will have you convinced it’s the real thing. Espoo is a design with stones. These last two patterns have the beauty of stones and pebbles with the ease of a soft carpet.
All Out of Nature designs are made from 100% polyamide, a high-quality, high-wearing carpet. The collection offers the best of both worlds: it brings nature inside without affecting your comfort. You get wood without splinters and rocks that aren’t rocky.
About the Manufacturer: Ege has been manufacturing carpets since 1938. Founded by Mads Eg Damgaard, the Danish company has been a leader in the industry thanks to its tradition of using advanced technology. With a dying plant where almost all parts of the production process are computerized, Ege is able to control design “down to the very last detail, so virtually only the imagination limits what is possible.”
