New Sink Vessels by Kallista for Kohler

Brushing your teeth and washing your hands in a typical white ceramic sink basin is plain boring. Bathroom design today is more interesting with added spa-like or worldly touches. Kallista for Kohler Interiors continues to grow the trend and takes the bland out of the bathroom with four new travel-inspired vessels in distinguishing shapes and finishes with sculptural details.

Sink Into Kallista’s New Detailed Basins

Kallista, known for its decorative plumbing products, introduces four new vessels: Coimbra, Obidos, Trinidad and Wavelet.

Coimbra’s unique sculptural relief on the exterior of the bowl was drawn from a town in Portugal known as a main center of artistic influence in the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries. The beautiful details and ideal size would make the round, sixteen-and-a-half-inch bowl a wanted addition to any bathroom space. It is available in traditional or white satin bronze finish for $4,665.

Obidos has a clean elliptical shape, and, at approximately sixteen-by-eleven-inches, is scaled for small spaces like a powder room or great for pairing on a double vanity. This vessel is also named after a small Portugal town admired for its abundance of medieval architecture. It is available in traditional or white satin bronze finish for $3,455.

Trinidad Rectangular Bowl designed by Robert Kuo for Kallista.

The Caribbean island was inspiration for the Trinidad Vessel, a twenty-by-thirty-inch rectangular stunner. The basin is a fantastic way to add a metallic shine to any bathroom. It is available in traditional or white satin bronze finish for $4,810.

Kuo Wavelet Round Lavatory by Kallista for Kohler.

Designed by Robert Kuo, Wavelet is made by repoussé, a rare eighth-century, Asian technique involving the hand-hammering of a decorative relief onto sheet metal. Kuo has mastered the technique and designed the round, sixteen-inch vessel for Kallista. Because the piece is made out copper and has horizontal fluting, it catches and refracts the light for extra sparkle. It is available for $4,995.
