Stripes Max Upholstered Seating. Designed by Giulio Marelli. Manufactured by One Furniture Group.
Stripes Max Offers Pockets of Privacy in Public Spaces
Sure the venue is different but the upshot is the same: Stripes Max offers a delicious contrast between dark and light, between garish and subdued. A derivation of One Furniture Group’s earlier Stripes, Stripes Max is a collection of high-back upholstered seating for public venues.
Similar to the earlier Stripes, Stripes Max has One Furniture Group’s signature look of vertical and horizontal channel stitch detailing—a subtle form of stripe that belies the typical connotation of zebra stripes and animal prints, while still offering visual variation and textural intrigue.
The basic unit of Stripes Max is a loveseat-sized bench with a 52” back. The high profile provides an ideal place of repose and a perfect brief escape from the office grind. Yet, as One Furniture Group is quick to point out, the seats also offer a quick conduit to collaboration and enhanced communication.
Says One Furniture Group, “We’re certainly not the first company to develop seating to address this need, but we do feel this collection has a very unique look and has caught the imagination of the A&D community.” Look for matching occasional tables with data and power options to complement Stripes Max later this year.
About the Manufacturer: One Furniture Group may have the word “One” in their name but that’s only because the manufacturer is exceptionally focused on a common goal. That is to say, in no uncertain terms, continually challenging themselves to improve and advance in all facets—responsiveness to customers, enhanced passion for design, and increased drive to innovate: “What we do must be an extension of who we are and what we believe in as individuals and as a team… We must compliment our passion for design with the same uncompromising commitment to service for our internal and external customers.” One Furniture Group’s product line includes seating, lounges, occasional tables, and dining tables.
