Bright Fabrics Inspired by Journeys and Jollity
Wonder Wheel and Carnivale are the most dramatic fabrics in the new line, featuring pinwheels and diamonds. Inspired by the Coney Island landmark, Wonder Wheel “mirrors the spokes of the wheel.” In bright colors like Mambo and Wasabi, Wonder Wheel adds a whimsical, fun touch that’s emblematic of the idea behind this collection—seize the day. Carnivale takes its cue from Rio’s famous parade, with a diamond pattern of “intersecting lines” resembling the “thousands of revelers that stream through” the streets of Brazil.
Subtler, accompanying fabrics exist to complement these vivid textiles. Carpe Diem offers Karaoke, a textured boucle with some shimmer; Vespa, a lustrous rayon with kinetic stripes; and Bonnaroo, a bold stripe with the “rhythmic spirit” of New Orleans. The idea with these fabrics is to enjoy your immediate surroundings and what they evoke, so “drink in the vivacious colors of Carpe Diem.”
