Redefining Modern: The Numi Toilet by Kohler

For tea drinkers, the idea of naming a toilet Numi might be confusing. After all, Kohler‘s new motion-activated toilet does carry the same name as the popular tea company that has been around since the late-90s. Thank goodness the design of this porcelain piece brings out the zen in an enlightened plumbing accessory that wakes us up as pleasantly as a cup of darjeeling.

A Motion-Activated Lid and Seat is One of Many Brilliant Features of the Modern Numi Toilet by Kohler

“Every inch of space was considered to create a compact, streamlined and modern form that doesn’t compromise functionality,” says Kohler of the mindful toilet and bidet, whose lid and seat use front sensors to react to your movement upon entering a room. The hands-free opening and closing of the Numi toilet uses a detector at floor-level to raise and lower the seat as you like. But this isn’t where the extension of comfort ends; the toilet also features an integrated air dryer, deodorizer, heated seat (we’re not kidding) and feet warming system using floor-level vents that heat up your floor’s surface to make sure you stay toasty.

Taking it into the realm of impossibility, your comfort may turn into amazement when you hear the music playing and realize that there are illuminated panels lighting your space with the invitation to enjoy the Numi toilet anywhere you please. For the bold, place it in the middle of a living room, as the image suggests, since apparently, the confidence of the innovative toilet is as confident as a work of art on your wall.
