Viva La Vintage Glam: The Nouveau Boho by Stacy Garcia for Brintons

As a daily design blogger, a picture that is worth a thousand words goes a really long way. The moment I laid my eyes upon the images of Stacy Garcia‘s latest commercial carpeting collection entitled the Nouveau Boho, I knew that the bold designs wouldn’t really need explaining. They’re the latest and greatest in wool carpet designs by Brintons, and in their luscious textures and bold shades, I should technically be set for the next month in my word counts.

Featuring layered motifs that were inspired by “global cultures and fashion”, American designer Stacy Garcia puts models in her shots to prove that even amongst beautiful people in the latest frocks from around the globe, the carpet takes the spotlight. I think it stands as an unspoken example for the design of the commercial space: with the Nouveau Boho carpet designs, you could probably forget to put furniture in altogether. People would be happy to enjoy the visual delicacies of a carpet that does it all – looking both vintage and luxurious at the exact same time.

“The true nature of Nouveau Boho is in the ideology and lifestyle. While it is inspired by global cultures and fashion, this free-spirited collection was not created in the name of looking cool or hip. It was designed to encourage people to simply be true to themselves and provoke them to embrace their individuality,” reads the product description using a quote from the designer herself. The company behind it all – Brintons – is known for their woven axminster and wilton carpet manufacturing of residential and commercial carpet designs. With Garcia’s namesake design house out of New York, the woven axminster style comes to life in this exciting new Nouveau Boho collection.
