Fibre C is a glassfiber concrete panel product that can be used both on the exterior and interior of a building. Fibre C panels are light-weight and flexible, allowing them to cover an existing building skin and bring a new aesthetic to a building without total reconstruction. Use of Fibre C on an interior space creates a connection between inside and outside, giving a sense of material honesty to the interior treatment.

Rieder began research and experimentation of Fibre C in 2004. A special extrusion process brings together layers of glassfiber into a concrete matrix which works with alternating directions of the fibers to create strength. Steel reinforcement can then be eliminated, allowing the panels to be very thin and flexible. The resulting slab is 8 to 13 mm thickness, and is very light-weight for a concrete panel system. The panels come in a variety of colors that are earth-based, which makes them suitable for a wide variety of spaces.

As is typical of concrete, the raw materials are purely mineral substances, and the addition of glassfibers eliminates high energy steel reinforcement. Fibre C can be completely recycled at the end of its life, and Rieider has committed to reducing the energy consumption of one panel by 80% by 2011.
