BuildingBloks Architectural Wall Forms by modularArts

Technology is allowing designers to design in three-dimensions faster and more easily. Computer modeling combined with milling, 3D printing and other new processes are resulting in sculpted forms that work at every scale of a building. Frank Gehry has made wildly shaped buildings famous, but at the small client scale, the same level of forms can be prohibitively expensive. Materials such as 3form are allowing more sculptural objects to be brought into small interior applications with products such as Ditto, a series of interlocking pieces that bend together to make sculptural screens.

BuildingBloks by modularArts is an interlocking system that quickly creates three-dimensional interior walls that play well with both light and space. The pieces stack along with standard steel studs set 24″ O.C. and can be mounted over a standard gypsum board wall in fire rated situations. InterlockingRock is a feature that precisely and seamless aligns all the sides for a quick installation. All of modularArts panels are composed of entirely non-toxic materials with a lightweight soy-based core. Each finishing kit comes with a set of low-VOC components to complete modularArts commitment to sustainability. A typical issue with complicated wall treatments is off-gassing of materials, modularArts eliminates this issue by creating precast panels that are ready to go when delivered on site. BuildingBloks take interior walls to a whole new level. Like 3D television for your walls, we no longer have to sit in the dark ages of wallpaper and paint, but instead can see depth and dimension in a whole new way.
