Weekly Wrap-up: 10 Oscar-Worthy Product Designs Winners

Glamour, glitz and design innovation are in the air. Following Slumdog Millionaire‘s victorious golden statue sweep at the 2009 Oscars on Sunday, millions of viewers watched celebrity after celebrity take the stage under David Rockwell’s magnificently-designed Swarovski Oscar Curtain. In Hollywood spirit, we at 3rings are awarding our own variety of Oscar to this week’s best product designs. The nomination categories, which range in relative Hollywood obscurity from “Decadent Rococo-Inspired Chair Design” to “Futuristic Fireplace Concepts” to “Uber-Executive Interior Lighting for the Workplace” present a theatrical selection of superior design performance.
