Live at NeoCon: Ecstasy + Rambo

This is our last live post from NeoCon and we want to thank everyone whom stopped by our display – whether it was mere curiosity or maybe the signs shouting FREE File Storage and Espresso or maybe just the opportunity to converse with four strapping gents in tight black t-shirts.

Believe it or not, we registered 500+ new users in three days at NeoCon, which is great news for our growing community. But it was also a lot of work. “Designer Pages is an online community to help designers find and manage products in architecture design…” I must have uttered that phrase a thousand times these past three days. “Additionally, Designer Pages is more than just an online product search for architecture and design, but it’s a web-software package to help designers save products and share products with colleagues and friends. It’s all about the next step…” I probably uttered that phrase, in particular, two thousand times.

Live at NeoCon: Ecstasy + Rambo

Thankfully, our neighbors at NeoCon were Aiwin, manufacturer of the M2 Sonic Sofa. I cannot even begin to explain how comfortable these reclining chairs are. Aside from the many ergonomic adjustments, they include built-in speakers that integrate with your surround-sound home theater. And moreover (yes, there’s more), they include a massage/vibration system that reflects and mirrors the live action on screen. Conveniently, today’s action thriller at NeoCon was Rambo, so my chair was vibrating off the hook.

And there you have it – your Designer Pages team closed out the day like kings, resting our aching bones while watching Sylvester Stallone star in yet another movie that should have went directly to DVD (I say that about both the most recent Rambo and the ridiculous Rocky 1000 that hit theaters last year). Stay tuned as we continue our post show coverage of NeoCon, Chicago 2008 through the end of the week. See you all next year in Chicago. We promise to deliver an even bigger and badder display.
