
WAF Says, “See You in Miami!”
The World Architecture Festival has announced they are coming to Miami. For the first time in the organization’s 18-year history, the international event celebrating building and interior design will be coming to the United States this fall.

The 2025 festival will take place at the Miami Beach Convention Center from November 12-14, 2025, a building that itself received much attention after its 2018 transformation by Fentress Architects.

The theme for this year’s festival is “Hearts and Minds,” which will investigate the interplay of architecture and design as a product of the mind and an appeal to the senses and emotions.

One Thousand Museum Miami by Zaha Hadid Architects
This event unites leading architects, designers, interior specialists, and industry professionals from around the globe. Previous festivals have been held in Singapore, Lisbon, Amsterdam, Barcelona, and Berlin.

The World Architecture Festival is known for its live judging portion of the awards program. Finalists present their projects in real time to a panel of judges from all over the world.

Submission entries are now open. The final entry deadline is April 25, 2025. Judging will occur in June of 2025 and the Shortlist of finalists will be announced in July 2025.
