Thibault Desombre’s Vik 2 chair for Ligne Roset is a clever and compact dining chair with a base in ash and seat/back in molded beech plywood and high-density foam.

The wood frame gives the chair a light aspect—in look and reality, as it’s extremely lightweight and easy to maneuver, with an optional handle in the back.

Vik 2 comes with or without arms. The seat and back cushions are Bultex high resilience polyurethane foam quilted polyester wadding—a durable and resilient material.

For convenience and aesthetic variation, the cover is fully removable—hidden Velcro strips facilitate change outs.

Vik 2 also celebrates one of Pantone’s colors of the year with a version in “Illuminating,” a very vibrant and sunny yellow.
