Just released at IBS 2020, SL84 innovates many aspects of folding-door systems, including functionality, profile width, and thermal performance.

The system is a breeze to use. Although the panels are quite heavy, they’re easy to move. This performance is based on the same principle as a “bullet-train”—that minimal contact between wheel and rail makes for smooth and efficient operation.

SL84 also offers a super-slim profile. At a mere 3 and 7/8”, panels are startlingly thin—even when closed they look as light as the air outside.

Lastly, the “Bionic Turtle” mechanism housed within the frame offers dual-functionality. Not only does it serve as a concealed channel for the system’s interlocking rods, it also provides a substantial thermal break, thus improving SL84’s overall energy efficiency.
