Designer and Product Developer Susana Godinho provides a completely up-cycled and sustainable model for others to follow with the All The Way Rug for Ligne Roset.

Hearkening back to traditional Portuguese weaving techniques, All The Way incorporates recyclable cork, cotton clothing offcuts, and natural linen, “for a more environmentally friendly design without sacrificing style.”

On the latter score, All The Way is easy on the eyes and even easier on the feet. The linen/cork/cotton combination creates a comforting texture with a notable softness. And the color palette, inspired by Godinho’s personal experience and travels, is comprised of calm, pale tones—apropos of Spring.
