The Sfera pendant is a beautiful spherical pendant light made of the unlikely material of wicker. And not just any wicker but rather “450 feet of carefully selected bamboo wicker, woven using the Renaissance-era intreccio technique by master artisans in Mogliano, Italy.”

Sfera thus travels from the rarefied Italian air of Mogliano to your ceiling, where it charms with the Old-World excellence of a hand-woven tapestry or fine blown glass.

The lamp was created in consultation with Maurizio Bernabei, an architect and industrial designer who consults on European special-edition designs.

Bernabei’s eclectic skill set is reflected in Sfera, as the lamp shines within and beyond the intricacy of its woven wicker, offering textural allure and an unorthodox aesthetic that will appeal to discerning sensibilities.
