There are definitely blue skies in store for sustainable manufacturer Green Furniture Concept. Already the recipient of two best of NeoCon awards in years past, they’ve now been honored with a couple more at NeoCon 2019.
The judges recognized two products in the Nova C series: Perch and Recliner.
Awarded Silver for Seating: Sofas and Lounge, Recliner “sees the original Nova C back in a new angle.” Recliner is the outdoor bench that keeps on giving, as it invites users to ease back and enjoy deep relaxation. Recliner is ergonomically engineered to increase blood flow to the legs, making it a healthier sitting option than other outdoor seating. Lastly, it also has the nifty feature of integrated surfaces—every two seats the wooden ribs project upwards to form the perfect perch for a book or beverage.
Speaking of Perching, Green Furniture Concept’s other big winner at NeoCon is Perch, a sustainably engineered piece that’s “for people who are not quite willing to sit but are too tired to stand.”
In awarding Perch Best of NeoCon Gold for Seating: Benches, jurors admired its uniqueness and propensity for turning awkward public in-between spaces into a new kind of venue for casual, comfortable standing.
Both Recliner and Perch are available in straight and curved options. They feature FSC-certified wood, recycled steel, and zero-VOC finishes. The metal legs are available in multiple colors. See Green Furniture Concept for more information.
