Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec and Skyline Design have been awarded NeoCon Silver in the Architectural and Decorative Glass category for the elusive and illuminating Oblique and Chevron Collection.

Created to “evoke the sense of magic and wonder” experienced by medieval churchgoers, Oblique and Chevron aim for a contemporary interpretation of stained glass in leaded borders.

The Bouroullecs accomplish this through an intensive exploration of pattern and color. Utilizing eight photographs, the designers examined the various colors at a large scale: “when overlaid onto the patterns and viewed, the colors multiply, revealing a fluid and harmonious color landscape.”

Skyline utilizes a digital printing process to infuse the glass with the intersecting lines and interplay of color.

Oblique & Chevron enliven both interior and exterior environments, in applications like walls, space dividers, railings, facades, and canopies. Skyline Design utilizes low iron tempered safety glass and laminated glass. Panels as large as 72” x 144” are available in all standard thicknesses.
