Tango definitely hearkens back to the flawlessness of Modern design, and this is no wonder, as the piece was designed by Jehs + Laub, the wunderkind duo from Stuttgart, who have enjoyed quite a fruitful collaboration with Davis of late.

Notable features of Tango include the subtle, yet encompassing curvature, providing good ergonomics and a distinctive aesthetic. The chair also features a unique contrasting grain-horizontal on the upper back and vertical in the middle portion and seat, a nice duo of opposition and interplay which may reference the dramatic Argentinian dance from whence Tango takes its name.
