The new colors include Sand Yellow, Brick Red, and Olive Green, shades that complement the extant organic hues of raw concrete, icy white, and earthy brown.

First released in 2010, Aplomb is a concrete-cast stunner of a light piece, the overt solidity of the form and material striking an intriguing contrast to its size and function. Aplomb features energy-saving LED technology-longer bulb life reduces maintenance and adds the value of eco-efficiency and minimal resource use.

Aplomb's juxtaposition of various elements-light and heavy, refined and industrial-gives this lamp a unique personality and arresting aesthetic: "visible concrete is part of the expressive language of modern architecture and Foscarini, with Aplomb, uses this material with a spirit and a technology that is entirely original."
