Baltix

creates "abnormally green" furniture for contract markets, using local materials and state-of-the-art technologies-and manufacturing everything here in America. One of the company's proprietary products is BioSurf, a laminate alternative made from a blend of corn and soybeans.

BioSurf biopolymer, which is manufactured in Minnesota, contains no VOCs or formaldehyde. And the film is laid over a green MDF substrate made from 100% recycled wood fiber. The innovative material from Baltix presents an exciting design opportunity as well, because the table surface can be printed with any custom design.
