Copenhague Chair by HAY

Copenhague Chair by HAY

Danish design firm HAY tapped designers (who also happen to be brothers) Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec to create its Copenhague Chair for the University of Copenhagen. The resultant line is now available for purchase and is appropriate for a variety of settings, including educational facilities.

When designing the solid wood chairs, the Bouroullecs kept practicality in mind, ensuring that chairs could be stacked onto one other, making storage simple and efficient.

Each seat is constructed of solid wood with molded plywood seats and is equipped with either plastic or felt glides.
