Every year, creative director for KnollTextiles, Dorothy Cosonas, designs a textile collection for Knoll Luxe. This year, the collection gets its inspiration from two sources: “the classic aesthetic of Florence Knoll" and fashion pioneer Alexander McQueen. The fabrics created by Cosonas include four upholsteries and two draperies "that embody classic modern luxury."

The new collection by Cosonas focuses on "rich textures, clear colors and modern patterns." Arezzo, a velvet upholstery with a large-scale pattern, was motivated by a retrospective at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on the work of the late fashion designer Alexander McQueen. Created by combining computer printing and hand manipulation, Arezzo has a random pattern "where no two yards are alike." Arezzo's expressionistic design comes in four colorways: Dolce, Aqua, Truffle, and Squid Ink.
