Earlier this year, Spanish brand Kettal introduced the Kettal Mesh collection - a line of outdoor furniture inspired by architectural facades.
The design of Kettal Mesh recalls architectural mesh facades, which filter the surrounding environment without stopping the light and air flow.
Designed by Milan-based Patricia Urquiola, the Kettal Mesh furniture contrasts industrial and natural materials, hard and soft surfaces, and transparent and solid volumes.
The expanded metal used for backrest of the sofas and tables gives a feeling of lightness, and at the same time functions as the support for wooden and marble tops and cushions.
