At this year's Milan furniture fair, German design brand Richard Lampert launched the Atelier shelf and coat rack designed by Italian designer Marco Dessí.

The Atelier shelf and coat rack by Marco Dessí for Richard Lampert is a sophisticated product based upon a simple idea.

Slant-cut metal brackets made from 2mm sheet steel are combined with solid wood or melamine-coated shelves to create a versatile and simple shelving rack that provides sufficient storage space for books, kitchen utensils, and other items.

A wooden bar with hooks can also be incorporated so that the design can be used as a kitchen shelf or a coat rack.

Atelier comes with one or two shelves in different lengths that can be individually combined and extended by using the metal brackets, which are available in four different colors.
