Cassina challenged contemporary architects Rodolfo Dordoni, Piero Lissoni, and Philippe Starck to incorporate new research and techniques into the collection’s design

Dordoni’s Sled design is ideal for the center of a room, where its rear shelf is accessible from every angle and can act as a bookshelf or nightstand. With a stained black oak frame, the bed is also available in a Sled Slim version, a design without a rear shelf that can sit against the wall. Along with the bed, Dordoni designed a complementary bedroom desk and night tables with one or two drawers.

With a weightlessness imparted by slender polished aluminum feet, Starck’s Volage bed features a leather or fabric capitonn©, available in various sizes and designs that sit flush with the edge of the bed, or high or low with parts in projection. Two Starck-designed lamps can also be integrated. Other accessories include a night table or container with a crystal parallelepiped with a steel chromium-plated base and a bench with a leather or fabric capitonn© seat and supports in polished aluminium.
