, the new collection from Italian company, Zucchetti / Kos blends new materials with classic styles. The new collection, developed in concert with the Cristalplant brand, explores and enhances the transforming aesthetics of this innovative and contemporary material. This innovative product gives each piece its soft and velvety feel.
Morphing is the result of archetypal forms and innovative aesthetics.
The Morphing bathtub is a modern take on classic style. The traditionally rectangular tub is rounded off, and flows smoothly down to its little feet. The freestanding tub extends at one end for extra comfort.
Similarly to the tub, the console features a gracefully curving washbasin. The design is both familiar and modern with classic lines that curve fluidly downward.
Each piece of the Morphing collection is available in a classic white finish, striking black with a contrasting white interior, or a vibrant, hot red.
About the Manufacturer: Kos began in 1998 as a company that produced whirlpool tubs and multifunctional shower cabins. In 2001, the Italian company hired internationally recognized designers Ludovica + Roberto Palomba to design their entire collection and oversee the company's art direction. Ludovica + Roberto Palomba's designs "reinvented the bathroom setting in type and morphology." Then in 2007, Kos entered the Zucchetti group, and the two leading brands were "united by a shared philosophy and purpose." Zucchetti and Kos design bathroom products for cosmopolitan clients who want to build "domestic panoramas."
