It's no exaggeration to refer to designer Barbara Jacobs' collection of recycled glass tile as the  "essence of luminous color." These wondrous miniaturized rectangles of transparently luminescent glass sparkle and shine, shot through with the variegated shades of the entire visible spectrum.

Recycled Mosaics Combine Color and Texture

Barbara Jacobs' Recycled Glass Tiles are hand-selected by the artist to create unique color and texture combinations. Every Glass Inspirationsâ„¢ Tile incorporates matte, reflective, lightly textured, interference rainbow, frosted, and clear tiles. Surf, for example, melds blues and greys to create an oceanic feel. Soft Hues blends pink, cream, taupe, and celadon to create a subtle elegant palette, something akin to beached shells. Other patterns include warm and fiery Clay Pot and metallic and sleek Dark Steel.
